fio [latin: to be made] is a contemporary jewellery and design studio featuring the work of Queensland designer and metalsmith Matt Dwyer.

The Brisbane-based creative studio specialises in ready-to-wear and custom handcrafted jewellery, as well as the design and production of objects, lighting, and public artwork.

Dwyer has more than a decade experience in the design world and regularly exhibits his own work in Australia and overseas.

He also teaches the art of jewellery making at fio, which is located in Queensland’s fashion and design hub of Fortitude Valley.
