FIO : Contemporary Jewellery & Design

fio [latin: to be made] is a contemporary jewellery and design house featuring the expertise of Queensland designer and metalmith Matt Dwyer.

The Brisbane-based creative studio specialises in ready-to-wear and custom handcrafted jewellery, as well as the design and production of objects, lighting, and public artwork.

Dwyer has more than a decade experience in the design world and regularly exhibits his own work in Australia and overseas.  

He also teaches the art of jewellery making at the fio workshop and gallery, located in Queensland’s fashion and design hub of Fortitude Valley.
